Events

Below is our calendar of events. We encourage checking our GroupMe to confirm the time and location if you plan to come an event as occasionally last-minute changes are unavoidable, but we do our best to keep this up-to-date. Feel free to come to as few or as many work with your schedule!

Each week, at least one of our meetings is devoted to playing casual games. When you arrive, anyone should be happy to play a game if you ask them! We often switch opponents throughout the meetings as well, which last around two hours (though you're free to get there and leave whenever you'd like). Unless otherwise specified, "Club Meetings" on the calendar will be in this format. 

We also have special events most weeks this semester—flip through the calender to see which ones sound fun! The descriptions have information about the events, and we'll send more details in the GroupMe the week they're happening.

A number of our members are also active in events hosted by the Columbia Chess Club, which are a lot of fun. You can find out more about their club and their events at their website. If you'd like to get involved there but need a ride, you can email us or ask in the GroupMe and we can work that out!
